Our dermaplaning re-certification course is specifically designed for experienced practitioners who already have dermaplaning training and hands-on experience, but want to improve their dermaplaning skills. Unlike our comprehensive main certification program, this streamlined course is entirely virtual and focuses on mastering the DermaplanePro Method.

The course structure includes video-based training modules where you'll learn our proprietary techniques, followed by a practical assessment. You'll demonstrate your skills by recording yourself performing dermaplaning on a model of your choice, then submit this video to your assigned trainer for evaluation. Your trainer will assess your safety protocols, technique precision, and blade handling skills, providing either constructive feedback for improvement or certification upon successful completion.

No, students are not eligible for this course as we require previous dermaplane training and clinical experience. Students are encouraged to take advantage of our "Student Certification Course" offer of just $475. Please click here to email our Training Department to determine your eligibility. 

That is going to depend on your state. Each state has different rules as to what an aesthetician can and cannot do. Each state’s guidelines depend on how your facility is set up, whether or not you work under a medical director, and to what extent.

Your answer to that question is with your professional liability insurance company. They will give you specific answers and guidelines as to what you can and cannot do. We refer you to your insurance liability carrier to protect you and your license.

To enroll in our Re-Certification Course, you must meet the following requirements:

Previous Dermaplaning Training & Experience: You must have completed dermaplaning training from another provider and have hands-on experience performing dermaplaning treatments with clients. This could include training received through another company, aesthetics school, online certification programs, or similar educational platforms.

Documentation Required: You'll need to provide proof of your previous dermaplaning education, such as a course receipt, payment confirmation email, and certificate of completion.

Professional Licensing: You must hold one of the following current professional licenses:

• Licensed Esthetician
• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Licensed Barber
• Physician Assistant (PA)
• Medical Doctor (MD/DO)

This ensures all participants enter the course with both the foundational knowledge and legal authority to perform dermaplaning treatments safely and effectively.
